Zeeland’s Hoogland Park is closed this summer as the space undergoes a $1.185 million renovation. The restroom building is also closed.
Hoogland Park is located near the cemetery at the corner of Rich Street and Peck Street. It currently has a small shelter, restrooms and a play area. The completed project will include a new restroom building, shelter, playground, signage, fencing, sidewalks, lighting and landscaping.
According to a rendering previously shared with Zeeland City Council, site amenities will include swings, a spinner, a play structure, an improved parking lot, a bocce ball court and a natural playscape.
The project is expected to be completed by December.
