It’s no secret that grocery prices have risen across the U.S. since 2020.
Families continue to struggle with higher prices across the board, including at the register, gas pump and utilities. To help readers locate the most affordable groceries for their household, The Daily is introducing a weekly “Grocery Guide” that compares the current prices of staple items at local stores.
Each story will compare name-brand and store-brand prices, if possible. For this week’s inaugural offering, we’re looking at eggs. These prices are from April 28, as posted online.
Unless otherwise noted, prices include a dozen large, white eggs.
