A Michigan State football commit has been invited to a high school All-American game later this year.
Ohimai Ozolua of Chicago will be participating in the Military Appreciation Bowl in Frisco, Texas later this year. It was announced last week that Ozolua will be part of the high school all-star-like game being held at the Ford Center — which is the home of the Dallas Cowboys.
The game will be held in December.
Ozolua is a four-star defensive lineman prospect, with a recruiting rating of 89 in 247Sports’ rating system. He ranks as the No. 50 defensive lineman and No. 429 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Michigan State landed a commitment from Ozolua in April, who is ranked as one of their top commitments at the time. The Spartans beat out the likes of Illinois, Iowa, Miami (FL), Michigan, Missouri, Ohio State, Nebraska, Penn State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin for Ozolua’s commitment.
