Do you love surprises? Or are you into the growing “unboxing” trend, where you get a sealed box that contains a surprise selection of goodies and products from cosmetics to collectibles?
It’s a growing trend driven by the thrill and mystery of not knowing what’s inside.
Aldi, the no-frills, nationwide grocer, is jumping on the bandwagon. Starting Monday, June 22, Aldi is releasing four days of surprises for grocery shoppers.
Aldi announced the launch of its Aldi Blind Box with various, themed grocery bundles packed in them. There are four days of four different themed surprise boxes that shoppers can claim for free.
“The ALDI Blind Box taps into the excitement our fans already feel walking our aisles,” said Bridget Kozlowski, Aldi’s director of communications, in a news release. “Our shoppers come to ALDI for value, but they also come for discovery. From viral ALDI Finds to tried-and-true products shoppers love to tell their friends about, people love the thrill of discovering something new here. With surprise unboxings more popular than ever, this is our way of helping customers discover even more favorites.”
Available to customers on a first-come, first-served basis, Aldi Blind Boxes will drop each day from Monday through Thursday, June 25 for customers to claim.
Inside the free boxes are Aldi fan-favorite products and staples, plus items across every aisle, the company says.
To claim a box with free products, customers can visit aldiblindbox.com at noon each day from June 22-25 for that day’s free themed box. The boxes are available while supplies last. You need to select that day’s Aldi Blind Box and enter your shipping information to have the box delivered to your door. In announcing the Aldi Blind Box, the grocer did not specify how many boxes will be available or the value inside them.
