The 102nd Port Huron-to-Mackinac Island Sailboat Race is underway.

The race is known as “the world’s longest continuously run long distance freshwater yacht race.”
More than 200 boats were registered to take on either the Shore Course, at 204 nautical miles, or the Cove Island Course at 259 nautical miles.
