A man was found dead on a Bedford Township road early Thursday, July 23, according to the Monroe County Sheriff.
Deputies were dispatched to a report of a man passed out on the side of South Telegraph Road, approximately 1/4 mile north of Crabb Road, shortly before 1:30 a.m. When they arrived, deputies found the man was dead on the shoulder of the northbound lane.
The Traffic Services Division and Detective Bureau responded to the scene to investigate. Details surrounding the death are still under investigation and will be released at a later date, according to the sheriff’s office. The victim’s identity is also under investigation.
