Delta Air Lines is offering metro Detroit travelers a wider lineup of European flights this year, the company said.
The airline will run daily Detroit-to-Rome flights in March and November from Detroit Metropolitan Airport, the company said in a release. Detroit-to-Amsterdam flights will fly on A339 aircraft for a streamlined journey, Delta Air Lines said.
“The expanded schedule provides Detroit customers with more opportunities to travel to Europe during the off-peak season,” the company said in the release.
Detroit Metro Airport includes two terminals, McNamara and Evans, with 31 million passengers traveling at the airport each year and more than 800 flights daily to and from three continents, the airport’s website says.

Delta Air Lines now offers daily flights from Detroit to Rome in November and March, the airline said.
All Delta Air Lines Detroit-to-Amsterdam flights will now use A339 aircraft, “bringing more consistency to the premium onboard experience,” Delta Air Lines said.
