Coldwater, Bronson football win while Tekonsha struggles | Week 5 takeaways

PARMA ― The Coldwater football team raced out to a 21-0 lead Friday, Sept. 26, at Parma Western, and the defense held off a mad Panthers charge throughout the second half to give the Cardinals the 28-21 win.

The loss put a damper on Parma Western’s Homecoming festivities, a celebration that saw Coldwater junior signal caller Dracyn Foster help in all three first half scores. The first score of the game came on a 13-yard quarterback keeper by Foster, followed by a 16-yard strike to Evan Lewis, and ending with a 62-yard bomb to Bennett McDonald, giving Coldwater the 21-0 lead after one quarter.
