After a big 2025-2026 year of sports, it’s time to find out who you chose as your Rockford-area Female Athlete of the Year in our poll.
We announced our own Male and Female MVPs and All Area Teams, but we also gave you the chance to pick your own. You voted, and you chose Durand’s Lola Robertson as your Female Athlete of the Year for the Rockford area.
She earned nearly 53% of the vote during our very popular poll. The poll received 21,990 votes over the two weeks while it was open. North Boone’s Marlee Alderman came in second with over 18 percent of the vote.
