Lake Worth High School is in the market for a new boys basketball coach and athletic director.
Frank Baxley has announced his resignation from Lake Worth athletics after spending the last six seasons at the helm of the Trojans basketball program
The veteran coach, who played at FAU and also coached at Lake Worth Christian and Atlantic, also served as Lake Worth’s athletic director during his time with the school.
Baxley led the Trojans basketball program to an overall record of 88-46 across his six seasons, including a 21-4 record with a trip to the state series in Lakeland during the 2021-22 season.
“Together, we built something special ― winning multiple district championships, making a final four appearance, reaching the regional finals, and creating memories that will last a lifetime,” Baxley said in a statement posted on Lake Worth’s basketball Instagram.
“Lake Worth is more than a school or a city ― it is a family,” the statement reads. “I’m honored to have had the opportunity to serve this community and represent it with pride. The friendships, memories, and experiences made here will stay with me forever.”
