The New York Giants had an underwhelming season in 2025, finishing the year at 4-13. Yet many of their core contributors played well individually and delivered sensational highlight plays throughout the campaign.
Whether it was Malik Nabers hauling in several huge receptions over the first four games before tearing his ACL, or any of Brian Burns’ 16.5 sacks, the Giants produced plenty of memorable moments last season.
Of all the highlight-worthy plays Giants players produced in 2025, two stand out in particular. Here are the brilliant plays turned in by Darius Slayton and Jameis Winston.
Week 10: Darius Slayton’s one-handed catch vs. Bears
The Giants trailed 7-0 with 33 seconds left in the first quarter. Quarterback Jaxson Dart delivered a beautiful pass to Slayton racing up the right sideline. Slayton turned around and reeled it in with one hand for a gorgeous reception. He fended off Bears cornerback Tyrique Stevenson to secure the catch, which ranked among the best of the season league-wide.
Week 12: Jameis Winston’s TD heave to Wan’Dale Robinson vs. Lions
Early in the first quarter with 13:05 remaining, Giants quarterback Jameis Winston tossed the ball to running back Devin Singletary, who then pitched the ball back to Winston on a flea-flicker, and the former No. 1 overall pick heaved a deep pass to Wan’Dale Robinson in the end zone for a 39-yard touchdown.
Winston was starting in place of the injured Dart for the second consecutive game against the Lions. The Florida State product gave the Giants their first points of the game, though New York ultimately fell, 34-27, in overtime.
