The Jazz Hamilton Arts Foundation is bringing a patriotic show combining theater, cinema and music to the RP Funding Center on Saturday, June 20.
The TIMELESS America Tour is created in honor of the nation’s 250th birthday. At the heart of the show is the TIMELESS Suite, an original nine-movement orchestral concert piece composed and arranged by renowned saxophonist and concertista Jazz Hamilton.
Hamilton will be accompanied by orchestra, ballet, choir and drumline. Choreography is performed by FrediDance Project artistic director Ferdinand Fredi De Jesus.
“Conceived as a unifying artistic experience, this powerful work celebrates America’s story — its origins, its diverse people, its enduring spirit, and the role that faith, resilience and shared ideals have played in shaping our national identity,” the foundation said in a news release.
Lakeland is the first stop for the TIMELESS America Tour before it travels across the United States and Puerto Rico.
“Audiences will be immersed in sweeping symphonic music, cinematic storytelling, and live tributes honoring veterans, first responders, military families, healthcare providers, and seniors through the Foundation’s signature Seats of Honor program,” the release said.
The show starts at 6:30 p.m. in the RP Funding Center’s Youkey Theatre. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy a curated patriotic lobby experience.
