The last former Rocket to win an NBA title was Isaiah Hartenstein, who played 51 games with Houston from 2018 to 2020 before earning a title last season with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Other recent Rockets alums who went on to win a championship with other teams include Ish Smith and Jeff Green, who did so with the Denver Nuggets (2023); Chris Chiozza with the Golden State Warriors (2022); and PJ Tucker, who won with the Milwaukee Bucks (2021).
