The Los Angeles Rams stunned the NFL when they made the decision to part ways with 2024 first-round pick and two-time Pro Bowler Jared Verse in a trade for Myles Garrett. Verse, who is entering the third year of his career, was off to an incredible start, securing Defensive Rookie of the Year and becoming the piece that helped the Rams transition from the Aaron Donald era with ease.
Verse was also a favorite in the locker room, establishing many friendships within the team’s brotherhood. During Verse’s opening presser in Cleveland, the Browns’ newest outside linebacker stated that teammates Braden Fiske and Byron Young spent time at his house before he left Los Angeles for Cleveland, supporting Verse in his exit from the Rams.
Verse and Fiske were teammates at Florida State, helping the Seminoles achieve a perfect 13-0 regular season and victory in the ACC Championship Game before they were drafted by the Rams in the first and second round.
Young and Verse began their friendship as the team’s starting outside linebackers. Both men are close and celebrated their Pro Bowl selections together last season.
