The Buffalo Bills are once again one of the most touted teams ahead of the 2026 NFL season.
Quarterback Josh Allen grabs most headlines but the league is aware of the new defense coordinator Jim Leonhard has brought to Buffalo. The Bills will have to transition to his scheme after Sean McDermott was fired and the defense will have plenty of difficult tasks waiting for them next year.
There are plenty of strong quarterbacks and just as talented wide receivers slated to face the Bills in on their 2026 schedule.
Of those, here is Bills Wire’s list of the five best receivers the Bills will face in 2026:
5. Garrett Wilson (Jets)
Wilson will need to build chemistry with a new quarterback again in 2026 as Geno Smith is back in New York. However, basing this purely off a receiver’s skill, Wilson has consistently produced even with poor QB play.
4. AJ Brown (Patriots)
Brown just landed with the Patriots via trade. He instantly goes into the conversation of potentially being the AFC East’s best receiver.
3. Amon-Ra St. Brown (Lions)
From the word go, St. Brown has proven a slot receiver can be included among the NFL’s best. His chemistry with quarterback Jared Goff helped him surpass 1,400 yards last year… which wasn’t considered the best of seasons the duo has had.
2. Justin Jefferson (Vikings)
It was not his best season with tough QB play in 2025. Jefferson still surpassed 1,000 yards again and is simply elite.
1. Puka Nacua (Rams)
While this is a receiver ranking not a quarterback one, it’s hard not to factor it. The Stafford-Nacua tandem went for 1,715 yards last year. Just a monster number.
