With 100 days until the start of the 2026 NFL season, ESPN insiders got together and collaborated on 100 worthwhile thoughts on the next year of football.
On such a list, a look ahead at next season’s MVP is an easy idea to include… which ESPN did and it has Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen included.
All 10 candidates named are quarterbacks and leading all of them is Allen right at the top.
Allen was a candidate for last season’s MVP Award for a large chunk of the year but it ultimately went to Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford. Allen won the honor in 2024.
ESPN’s breakdown on Allen’s 2026 candidacy can be found below:
He’s the best quarterback in the NFL, and if the Bills are the No. 1 seed in the AFC — which is well within the cards — it will be because Allen delivered an MVP-worthy performance.
