On ESPN’s “Get Up,” a former New York Jets player (and a fan) raved about the offseason work the team has done in 2026.
Former Jets offensive lineman Damien Woody took part in a roundtable discussion on the program and more than touted the efforts by the team, using the word “masterful” at one point.
“I thought they had a masterful draft,” Woody said. “Don’t be surprised if the Jets, come December, are flirting around [the postseason].”
Woody also went on to compliment the veteran additions made, namely the decision to bring in quarterback Geno Smith.
The conversation was between Woody and ESPN analyst Mike Greenberg. As a longtime Jets fan, Greenberg agreed with Woody and boldly predicted a 15-2 overall record for Gang Green next season.
