Newbury Park swimmer Megan Wang won the state 100-yard backstroke title while Chase Macleod led Oaks Christian boys lacrosse to a CIF-Southern Section crown. Also, Joe Curley discusses the rule behind last week’s Rio Mesa baseball forfeit.
Three local teams earned CIF-SS championship berths on the diamond, including Oxnard and Grace softball and Agoura baseball. Grace star shortstop Grace Maguire talked about her team’s exciting comeback victory in the semifinals, while Joe and Dom talked through the rest of the semifinal round.
