Chargers jab Puka Nacua for livestream in schedule release video

No one does schedule release videos better than the Los Angeles Chargers. It’s something that fans of every team gladly admit, because they simply do a brilliant job with these videos every year.

They nailed it again for the 2026 release, brilliantly unveiling their schedule completely in the “Halo” video game.

The Rams play the Chargers in Week 8, which means they were in the crosshairs of their social media team. Well, at least Puka Nacua was.

The Chargers poked fun at Nacua for livestreaming in the locker room after a game, despite being told multiple times not to. They even had Ty Simpson, Sydney Sweeney and Kyle Shanahan in the comments, which was a funny touch.

Also in the video, the Chargers jabbed the Rams for their draft room attire, using a Colorado Avalanche logo instead of their own. Les Snead and several others came under fire during the final day of the draft for wearing Avalanche jerseys while Colorado was up 3-0 on Los Angeles’ own Kings team in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Chargers are simply better at this than everyone else.

The Rams did put together a high-quality video of their own, paying homage to “Napoleon Dynamite” to unveil their schedule. It may not match the level of this Halo-themed video, but both Los Angeles teams nailed the assignment.
