With the 2025-26 high school sports season ongoing, the El Paso Times will give readers a chance to vote to identify El Paso’s top athletes.
This week, readers voted for which El Paso Times’ El Paso Children’s Hospital high school male athlete had the best performance in baseball and track and field.
Clint pole vaulter Matthew Portillo had the most votes with 20,748, followed by El Dorado track and field standout Tanner Ragan with 19,346.
