What's that restaurant coming to west Redding?

The Holiday Market shopping center is getting a new restaurant that will bring a familiar name to west Redding.

Kate and Joe Wood, who own Bantam Kitchen, have decided to relocate their Hartnell Avenue location. The Woods closed Bantam on Hartnell in mid-February in preparation for the move.

Bantam Kitchen is also in the Redding Public Market downtown.

The Woods opened Honeymoon’s Kitchen last April before deciding to close it in September.

After closing Honeymoon’s, the owners said they would rebrand and reopen.

They announced on Facebook on Jan. 24 that Bantam on the eastside is moving west.
