Championship Schedule
No. 1 West Valley vs. No. 2 Orland, Division III
The No. 1-seeded West Valley Eagles will compete against No. 2 Orland for the Division III Northern Section Championship. The Eagles won this matchup 3-1 in the regular season on Sept. 11. West Valley took down Orland in the semifinals last season en route to a Division III section championship win. This is the first game on Saturday, with action to begin at 9 a.m.
No. 1 University Prep vs. No. 3 Colusa, Division IV
The No. 1 Panthers will battle the No. 3 RedHawks for the Division IV section title at 11 a.m. The Panthers are riding a month-long hot streak in which they haven’t surrendered a single set. U-Prep is looking to go back-to-back, but they’ll have to get through a tough Colusa squad to do so. The Panthers won the head-to-head matchup back on Sept. 16 and are looking to make it a season sweep with a section title.
No. 1 Etna vs. No. 2 Redding Christian, Division VI
No. 2 Redding Christian lost in the championship match last year as a seventh seed, and they’re looking to finish the job this year against No. 1 Etna. RCS and Etna tied 1-1 in their only matchup this season back on Sept. 6. Gameplay is set for 1 p.m.
No. 1 Pleasant Valley vs. No. 3 Foothill, Division II
The No. 3 Cougars will take on the No. 1 Vikings in a rematch of last year’s semifinal matchup. Foothill took the title last year, and the Vikings are looking for revenge after a strong 2025 season. Pleasant Valley won both of the head-to-head matchups during the regular season. The two teams will square off at 3 p.m.
