The high school sports season is rapidly unfolding, which means it’s time once again for everyone’s favorite part of the week: The Gainesville Sun’s Athlete of the Week Poll.
Our nomination process is a little different this season. Please click here to see how to nominate. Nominations are due Monday morning, and they can be sent in by anyone — coaches, administrators, friends, family. It is imperative to send in nominations, so we can continue to honor the best! Please send nominations to Gainesville Sun Preps Reporter Noah Ram at nram@gannett.com.
Voting for this week closes at noon on Friday.
FYI, most of our nominees come from our top performers list. Check it out here, and be sure to send a top performer during the week to nram@gannett.com.
