See which bowl game Florida State is now projected to play in 2025

After shocking the Alabama Crimson Tide 31-17 and obliterating the FCS East Texas A&M Lions 77-3 on Saturday, this level of dominance has made prediction models look more favorable on the 2025 Florida State Seminoles.

The Seminoles are currently ranked No. 10 in the AP Top 25 poll as well as No. 12 in the US LBM Coaches poll. Being at 2-0, there is still room for improvement in this regard. There’s more of the mountain to climb.

Erick Smith of USA TODAY Sports publishes weekly bowl projections, and in his newest piece, he predicts that the Florida State Seminoles will once again return to the Pop-Tarts Bowl in Orlando, FL, this time facing the BYU Cougars. Previously, the Seminoles defeated the Oklahoma Sooners at Camping World Stadium in 2022 after a 9-3 season.

Others, like CBS Sports’ Brad Crawford, have the Seminoles participating in the College Football Playoff for the first time since 2015. It remains to be seen whether either of these predictions will come to fruition in the end.
