After teasing its return for months, McDonald’s has finally announced when the Snack Wrap will return. And the wraps are back for good.
The fan-favorite will be back on the menu on July 10, 2025, the fast-food giant announced on June 3. And it will be available in two different styles, according to a press release.
“The Snack Wrap will be back in 2025,” McDonald’s President Joe Erlinger told “Good Morning America” in December 2024, as reported by USA TODAY. “It has a cult following. I get so many emails into my inbox about this product.”

What is a Snack Wrap?
The Snack Wrap features one of McDonald’s new McCrispy Strips — a juicy chicken strip made with all white meat — topped with shredded lettuce and cheese and wrapped in a soft flour tortilla, according to snackwrapfiles.com, which McDonald’s launched to “highlight the bond fans have with the Snack Wrap.”

Yes. McDonald’s says a meal will include two Snack Wraps, medium fries and a drink.
Is the Snack Wrap a permanent addition to the menu?
Yes. The Snack Wrap is here to stay, according to the fast-food giant.
When was the Snack Wrap discontinued?
McDonald’s Snack Wrap debuted in 2006, USA TODAY reports, before being discontinued in 2016.
Some restaurants continued to serve it until 2020. That’s when it was removed from the menu to simplify McDonald’s offerings during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the Food Network.
McDonald’s expanding offerings with Chicken Big Mac, McCrispy Strips, Chicken Selects
In an earnings call in February 2025, McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski said that the company is setting its sights on expanding chicken offerings in its stores and wants to “increase its market share in the chicken category by the end of 2026,” according to Quartz.
McCrispy Strips debuted in April. And other items like the Chicken Big Mac proved to be successful enough to help McDonald’s chicken market share in the U.S. and France. Kempczinski noted that McDonald’s plans to continue rolling out the Chicken Big Mac as a limited-time offering, TODAY reports.
How many McDonald’s locations are in Ohio?
There are 613 McDonald’s restaurants in Ohio, according to the web scraping tool ScrapeHero. Only California, Texas, Florida and Illinois have more locations than Ohio.
