The Wisconsin Badgers will take the Kohl Center court in an unofficial capacity on Wednesday, as they play host to the UW-Platteville Pioneers in a preseason scrimmage.
The scrimmage is Wisconsin’s final before beginning its 2025-26 regular season schedule against Campbell on Nov. 3. In addition to the annual Red/White scrimmage, Wisconsin hosted a scrimmage against Oklahoma at the Fiserv Forum late last week. The Badgers fell to the Sooners 84-83 in that exhibition contest, as their late-minute surge fell just one point short.
Wisconsin will look to improve upon its defensive performance against Oklahoma. While the Badgers boast KenPom’s No. 31-ranked defense entering the season, they allowed the Sooners to average more than 1.18 points per possession and shoot 51% from the floor.
