The arrival of veterans at Green Bay Packers training camp on Tuesday meant five more players going on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, including All-Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons.
Reporting to training camp means going through a physical. The following players were placed on the PUP list on Tuesday:
Parsons is recovering from ACL reconstruction surgery and a meniscus cleanup. He is not expected to participate during training camp and will miss the start of the regular season.
Riley tore his Achilles tendon late in the season and will likely miss all of training camp.
The other three players are dealing with unknown injuries. Not having Orzech healthy means the Packers have no long snapper to start training camp, although one could be added to the roster before Wednesday. Stackhouse, now entering Year 2, is a candidate to be the team’s starting nose tackle in 2026. Banks will compete for a backup role at offensive tackle. Any missed practice time during training camp is a blow to the chances of a player on the roster bubble.
The full 11-player list of those unable to participate as of Tuesday:
It appears the Packers will start training camp practice on Wednesday with 80 of 91 players available.
Players count against the 90-man offseason roster but can be removed from the PUP list at any point once deemed healthy enough to participate.
