Wisconsin football is just hours away from kicking off its 2025 Big Ten schedule with a home matchup against the Maryland Terrapins.
The Badgers enter the contest 2-1 through their nonconference slate, while Maryland enters at 3-0.
Wisconsin quarterback Billy Edwards Jr.’s injury status is a major variable to watch entering the matchup. The latest report lists him as a game-time decision, although it noted that he is trending toward suiting up. The veteran signal-caller has been sidelined since the second quarter of the team’s Week 1 win over Miami (Ohio). Backup Danny O’Neil played well in relief in the opener, led the team to a Week 2 win over Middle Tennessee State, then struggled in its Week 3 loss to Alabama.
Edwards’ availability is key to Wisconsin starting its conference season on a high note. Unsurprisingly, the Badgers enter the matchup as prohibitive favorites.
As we count down to kickoff, here is where and when to watch Wisconsin’s Big Ten opener vs. Maryland.
