Fireworks, concerts and food trucks are coming to West Allis as the city prepares for its Fourth of July celebrations.

At 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, Feature on Becher ‒ a collaboration between the city, the West Allis-West Milwaukee Recreation & Community Services Department and Station No. 06 ‒ will host an outdoor screening of the 1985 film “The Goonies” on Becher Street between 68th and 69th streets.
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for the event.
July 2
At 7 p.m. Thursday, July 2, the city will hold its annual Independence Day Parade through downtown West Allis.
The yearly tradition draws about 6,000 attendees and will feature floats, marching bands, live performances and vintage vehicles.
The parade will begin at 77th Street and Greenfield Avenue, continue east on Greenfield Avenue toward 70th Street and end at Orchard Avenue.
July 4
Beginning at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, July 4, the concert and Festival Foods fireworks display will be held at the West Allis Athletic Complex at Nathan Hale High School, 11601 W. Lincoln Ave.
Parking will open at 5:30 p.m. and costs $10 per vehicle or $5 for accessible parking spaces. Proceeds will benefit the West Allis-West Milwaukee High School Booster Clubs.
