We asked readers after the first round of the NBA draft to grade the Bucks’ picks after they selected Arizona guard Brayden Burries at No. 10 on Tuesday, June 23, and then also added Tennessee forward Nate Ament at No. 13 as part of the trade between Milwaukee and Miami for Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Bucks also received the draft rights of Malique Lewis, a 6-8 small forward who has played professionally in Australia, as part of a three-team trade in the second round that gave them the rights to the final choice of the event.
The grades
Among 575 total votes, 50% of respondents gave the Bucks an ‘A’ grade, and another 36% gave them a B. That’s an impressive 86% of the total vote.
Of the remaining respondents, nearly 9% gave the Bucks a C, 2.6% a D, and 2.4% an F.
