Find out which performances stood out as the strongest outings from performances across baseball, softball, and boys and girls track and field.
Here is a look at the top high school performances around the Central Wisconsin area from May 25- June 1.
BASEBALL
Christian Rehm, Stratford: Rehm yielded two hits and one run over five innings pitched while striking out 12 in a 3-1 win over Wittenberg-Birnamwood on Tuesday, May 26.
Adam Kautzer, Loyal: In five innings pitched, Kautzer yielded two hits and zero earned runs while striking out seven in a 10-0 win over Weyauwega-Fremont.
Jaeger Ormond, Stratford: Ormond collected one hit, two runs, three RBI and a home run in a 13-10 win over Pittsville.
Jack Remus, Stratford: Remus notched two hits, two runs, and three RBI including a home run in a 13-10 win over Pittsville.
Kaleb Cracraft, Athens: In three innings pitched, Cracraft yielded zero hits or runs while striking out 10 in a 35-0 win over Northland Lutheran.
Daxton Diethelm, Athens: Diethelm dominated with five hits, four runs, four RBI including a double and a triple in a 35-0 win over Northland Lutheran.
Sebastian Andersen, Mosinee: Andersen finished with two hits, three runs and six RBI, including a home run in a 13-0 win over Abbotsford/Colby.
Kaden Kolodziej, Mosinee: In five innings pitched, Kolodziej yielded zero hits or runs while striking out eight in a 13-0 win over Abbotsford/Colby.
Devin Cherney, Auburndale: In seven innings pitched, Cherney yielded seven hits and only two earned runs while striking out seven in a 12-2 win over Weyauwega-Fremont.
SOFTBALL
Riya Ceballos, Almond-Bancroft: In four innings pitched, Ceballos yielded one hit and zero earned runs while striking out six in a 15-0 win over Reedville on Tuesday, May 26.
Jackie Nooyen, Amherst: Nooyen collected three hits, one run and three RBI including a double in a 5-3 win over Stratford on Tuesday, May 26.
Amelia Martini, Pacelli: In nine innings pitched, Martini yielded six hits and zero earned runs while striking out 12 in a 1-0 win over Bonduel on Thursday, May 28.
Haylee Cisewski, Pacelli: Cisewski smashed two home runs, including the walk off home run to center field to help Pacelli down Iola-Scandinavia.
Ella Tess, Pacelli: In six innings pitched,Tess struck out eight in a 6-5 win over Iola-Scandinavia.
Lydia Garvin, Marshfield: Garvin collected three hits, two runs and five RBI including a home run in a 12-1 win over Sparta.
Avery Kelnhofer, Marshfield: Kelnhofer belted a two-run home run in a 12-1 win over Sparta.
Rylee Hraby, Medford: Hraby yielded zero hits or earned runs while striking out nine in a 15-0 win over Ashland on Tuesday, May 26. Then snagged 14 strikeouts in Medford following an 8-6 victory over Merrill on Thursday, May 28
Pacyn Stoffel, Mosinee: Stoffel finished with two hits, three runs and seven RBI including two home runs in a 26-0 win over Antigo.
Megan Treu, Mosinee: Treu notched three hits, four runs, five RBI including two doubles in a 26-0 win over Antigo.
Rory Salvesen, Wittenberg-Birnamwood: Salvesen tallied four hits, two runs and three RBI including a double in a 14-4 victory over Nekoosa.
BOYS TRACK AND FIELD:
Zander Zawislan, Stratford: Zawislan won first place in the 100-meter and 200-meter and 400-meter races at the D3 Sectional – Marathon on Friday, May 29.
Chris Marcell, Marathon: Marcell captured two first place finishes in the shot put and discus event at the D3 Sectional – Marathon on Friday, May 29.
Carter Cihlar, Abbotsford: Cihlar finished first in the pole vault event at the D3 Sectional – Marathon on Friday, May 29.
Parker Schmitt, Wausau East: Schmitt took first place in the 400-meter race at the D1 Sectional – D.C. Everest on Friday, May 29.
Cooper Erickson, Stevens Point: Erickson snatched first place in the 1,600-meter race at the D1 Sectional – D.C. Everest on Friday, May 29.
Logan Cisewski, Stevens Point: Cisewski took first place in the shot put event at the D1 Sectional – D.C. Everest on Friday, May 29.
Cullin Quance, Wausau West: Quance finished in first place in the long jump event at the D1 Sectional – D.C. Everest on Friday, May 29.
Xavier Edwards, D.C. Everest: Edwards took first place in the triple jump at the D1 Sectional – D.C. Everest on Friday, May 29.
Breckin Miller, Spencer: Miller snatched first place in the pole vault at the D3 Sectional – Bangor on Friday, May 29.
Trevor Trowbridge, Auburndale: Trowbridge took first place in the 100m hurdles at the D3 Sectional – Bangor on Friday, May 29.
GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD:
Addysen Wolf, Loyal: Wolf took first place in the 200-meter race at the D3 Sectional – Bangor on Friday, May 29.
Gracie Hasenohrl, Auburndale: Hasenohrl snatched first place in the pole vault at the D3 Sectional – Bangor on Friday, May 29.
Molly Johnson, Adams-Friendship: =Johnson won the 200-meter and 400-meter races at the D2 Sectional – Chilton on Friday, May 29.
Alexis Wierzba, Amherst: Wierzba took first place in the discus throw at the D3 Sectional – Marathon on Friday, May 29.
Avery Renkes, Northland Pines: Renkes finished first in the 100-meter race at the D2 Sectional – Rice Lake on Friday, May 29.
Daelyn Rieck, Colby: Rieck snatched first in the shot put event at the D2 Sectional – Rice Lake on Friday, May 29.
