The U.S. presidential delegation set to attend the closing ceremony at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics will include Wisconsin’s richest person.
Diane Hendricks, the co-founder of Beloit-based ABC Supply Co., will be among the 10 members of the delegation, the White House announced Feb. 11. The closing ceremony will take place Feb. 22.
Hendricks co-founded ABC Supply, the largest wholesale distributor of roofing supplies in North America, in 1982 with her late husband, Ken. She has been the chairwoman and sole owner since his death in 2007.
She is routinely counted among the wealthiest people in the world. In 2025 alone, Hendricks edged out John Menard, Jr as the richest person in Wisconsin and once again topped the Forbes’ list of richest self-made women in America — the eighth year in a row she’s led the list.
ABC Supply has more than 700 locations across the U.S. and Canada, according to its website. Hendricks also owns a real estate development firm and a holding company with stakes in 18 businesses, Forbes reported in 2022.
Alongside her business ventures, Hendricks has been a major donor to Republican campaigns and candidates for years. In 2024, she spoke in support of President Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee and donated at least $15 million to support the president’s campaign, according to records from the Federal Election Commission.
According to the White House, the presidential delegation will be led by Secretary of Education Linda McMahon. Other members of the delegation include:
