WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The UPS Store is open at a new home in Wisconsin Rapids after it closed nearly three years ago.
The new The UPS Store location opened April 23 at 4323 Eighth St. S., Suite 102 in Wisconsin Rapids, a company spokesperson confirmed to a Daily Tribune reporter.
The storefront offers domestic and international shipping, full-service packaging, digital printing, black-and-white and color copies, document finishing like binding and laminating, notary, custom crating and shipping for large items, mailbox and postal services, office and packaging supplies and more. Guests can also use The UPS Store’s printing services for items like business cards, letterhead and rubber stamps.
The UPS Store opening marks a return of the business to the city after it closed in June 2023 on Huntington Avenue. At the time, a spokesperson confirmed the closure but did not share any further details or reasons behind the closure or if the company intended to reopen in the future. At the time, The UPS Store directed customers to its next closest store on Rib Mountain Drive in Wausau.
The UPS Store confirmed to a Daily Tribune reporter its plans to return to Wisconsin Rapids in July 2025. At the time, the company was aiming to open in the middle of 2026.
The UPS Store is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. For more information, visit locations.theupsstore.com/8184 or call 715-421-5400.
