Green Bay Packers and NFL fans will get to unwrap several gifts on Christmas Day 2026.
Three huge games. All three are playoff rematches from last season.
The Packers will play at their oldest rival, the Chicago Bears, to open the slate of Christmas Day games, the second matchup between the two teams in 2026. But it will be the Packers’ first time back at Soldier Field since their epic second-half collapse in last year’s wild-card playoff game when they lost to the Bears 31-27.
This is the third time in the past six years that the Packers will be featured on Christmas Day.
The other two Christmas games this year are the Buffalo Bills heading to the Denver Broncos and the Los Angeles Rams playing at the reigning Super Bowl-champion Seattle Seahawks.
And like the Packers-Bears, the teams featured in those games engaged in 2025 postseason thrillers. The Bills-Broncos is a rematch of an AFC divisional-round playoff that Denver won in overtime 33-30. And the Rams and Seahawks game is a rematch of the NFC championship game that Seattle won 31-27.
Christmas falls on a Friday in 2026.

Packers on Christmas
The Packers will look to continue their winning ways on holidays, including on Christmas.
The Packers were one of two games on Christmas in 2021 and one of three on Christmas in 2022.
They won both of those games, home against the Cleveland Browns in 2021 and on the road against the Miami Dolphins in 2022.
Overall, across Thanksgiving and Christmas in the past five years, the Packers are 5-0 on those major holidays.
And while the Packers aren’t playing on Thanksgiving this season, after being part of Turkey Day in each of the past three years, they have the honor of getting the NFL’s first-ever Thanksgiving Eve game on Wednesday, Nov. 25, when they travel to face the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium.
