Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs was back on the practice field Tuesday for the first time since he was arrested and jailed following domestic abuse allegations stemming from an incident in Brown County late last month.
Coach Matt LaFleur said Jacobs would practice Tuesday and his return has been “business as usual” around the team facility, per ESPN’s Rob Demovsky.
Jacobs, who is entering his third season with the Packers, was arrested and jailed on five initial charges, including felony strangulation and suffocation and four misdemeanors, on Tuesday, May 26. But he was released a day later when Brown County said it needed more time to investigate the evidence before deciding on formal charges. The investigation into the incident from Saturday, May 23 remains ongoing.
Jacobs missed three sessions of practices at OTAs while away from the team.

After Tuesday’s session, the Packers will be back at OTAs on Thursday, June 4. Mandatory minicamp begins next week.
