OSHKOSH – Mark Murphy isn’t done just yet.
The outgoing Packers president and CEO has at least one more job in his current role, having been named master of ceremonies for the fifth annual OCC Golf Classic at the Oshkosh Country Club June 13.

The Oshkosh Country Club confirmed Murphy’s role ahead of the classic’s fifth edition, which is hosted by Green Bay Packers Pro Bowl guard Elgton Jenkins and the club’s owner, TJ Rodgers.
An All-Pro safety who won Super Bowl XVII with Washington, Murphy has served as Green Bay’s top executive since 2007, leading the Packers to 14 playoff appearances in that span, including a victory in Super Bowl XLV.
Murphy is set to retire in July when he reaches the club’s mandatory retirement age of 70 and is thought to be the only person to have won Super Bowls as both player and head of a franchise.
He also spearheaded the effort to bring the NFL Draft to Green Bay for the first time in the event’s history, attracting 600,000 fans to Lambeau Field April 24-26.
Golfers can interact with Mark Murphy, Elgton Jenkins and Green Bay Packers rookies during Oshkosh event
Golfers will get the chance to interact with Murphy, Jenkins, Rodgers and a group of Green Bay Packers rookies throughout the course of the classic.
A shotgun start at noon will be followed by cocktails, dinner and awards at 4:30 p.m.
Proceeds from the classic will go to Jenkins’ hometown Clarksdale High School Athletics and the Tiny House Village, founded by Rodgers and the Oshkosh Kids Foundation.
According to a statement from the OCC, around 150 children and adults have resided in the village before returning to the community.
“These programs and the houses themselves are designed to be cost-effective and make a difference for those who are going through a rough patch,” Rodgers wrote in the release. “I am also overjoyed with the community support for these programs — beds, pillows, linens and silverware — that just showed up.”
NFL Hall of Famer and Packers great offensive lineman Jerry Kramer emceed last year’s event while hosting signings of his book, “Run to Win,” on hole 12.
