OSHKOSH – XRoads41 keeps getting bigger.
The three-day music festival drew a record 66,543 attendees Aug. 6-8, its largest crowd since launching in Oshkosh three years ago, organizers said.
The 2026 festival featured 29 performances across three stages, led by Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson, Zac Brown Band, Treaty Oak Revival and Wiz Khalifa.
Record attendance marks another milestone for XRoads41
The festival, produced by Oshkosh Festivals LLC, has grown into a destination event built around national touring acts, camping, food, shopping and sponsor experiences.
This year’s festival included expanded food and vendor options, including 23 food vendors and more than 30 shopping, activity and experience vendors, organizers said.
New additions included Portillo’s and Chick-fil-A, along with attractions such as The Music Experience and the Texas Slingshot ride.
Rock Detour adds a new one-day festival
XRoads41 also expanded its footprint with the inaugural Rock Detour, a one-day rock festival held Aug. 9 after the main festival wrapped.
The debut event featured 11 artists, including Breaking Benjamin, Daughtry, Memphis May Fire, Dorothy, Drowning Pool, Atreyu and Saliva. Organizers said Rock Detour drew 3,500 attendees and added a new rock-focused element to the XRoads41 weekend.
Plans for the future of Rock Detour are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
XRoads41 2027 tickets are already on sale
The next XRoads41 festival is scheduled for Aug. 12-14, 2027.
Tickets are on sale now, with early bird pricing available through noon Aug. 14. Organizers said several ticket types sold out during the 2026 festival, including all VIP options.
The first 2027 headliner is expected to be announced Aug. 24.
How XRoads41 has grown in Oshkosh
XRoads41 debuted in 2024 as Oshkosh welcomed back a large summer music festival, with Journey and Shaggy among the inaugural headliners. The festival returned for a second year in 2025 with more than 18 acts at Oshkosh Festivals Park, then continued to scale up for 2026 with what organizers billed as its biggest lineup yet.
The festival also has been positioned as a community event with benefits beyond the stage. Prior Northwestern reporting found XRoads41 raised $111,100 for nonprofits through volunteer labor and community partnerships during its 2025 festival.
Oshkosh Festivals LLC says its mission is to produce affordable events focused on safety, customer service, memorable experiences and strong community connections.
