Wisconsin football enters Week 4 of the 2025 college football season in need of a major rebound. The team is 2-1 through three weeks, though it is fresh off a blowout 38-14 road loss to Alabama. While it showed some signs of growth during its two opening victories, Saturday’s loss to the Crimson Tide halted much of the team’s momentum.
The good news for the Badgers: they are set to welcome one of the bottom-ranked teams in the Big Ten to Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday. That team is the Maryland Terrapins, who are the No. 60 overall team (No. 14 Big Ten) in ESPN’s Football Power Index.
A bounce-back victory over Maryland feels like a requisite for a reeling Wisconsin team, especially given its extended poor form under Luke Fickell and upcoming matchups against Michigan, Iowa, Ohio State and Oregon.
