Game 3 is set for 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 8. The game is televised on ABC.

Besides the usual group of celebrities expected to be in attendance like Ben Stiller, Spike Lee and Timothee Chalamet, President Donald Trump is scheduled to be in attendance as a guest of Knicks owner James Dolan.

While the Knicks have trailed by double digits in both of the first two games and have been held to their lowest scoring games of the playoffs, they’ve continued their winning ways in the NBA Finals – their streak is now at 13 straight – through clutch play and defense.

Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns and Co. have come up big down the stretch in each game, and they have held the Spurs to their lowest and fourth-lowest scoring totals of the playoffs in Games 1 and 2.

Where is NBA Finals Game 3?

Game 3 of the NBA Finals will be played at Madison Square Garden. It will be the first NBA Finals game at the World’s Most Famous Arena since 1999 when the Knicks and Spurs also squared off for the Larry O’Brien Trophy.

T-shirts and rally towels await the fans at their seats.

Knicks winning streak

The Knicks are on a historic run in the playoffs, bringing a 13-game winning streak into Game 3. It’s the second-longest postseason winning streak in NBA history, behind only the 2017 Golden State Warriors.

Their last loss came on April 23 early in their first-round series against the Atlanta Hawks. After trailing the Hawks, 2-1, they won the next three games in dominant fashion to close out that series. They then swept the Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers, 4-0 each, with seven of the eight victories by double-digit margins.

As the road underdog in both of the first two NBA Finals games against the San Antonio Spurs, the Knicks overcame double-digit deficits to take a 2-0 lead.

Of the 13 straight playoff wins, eight have come on the road.
