Menomonee Falls man arrested and charged in road rage-related shooting

A Menomonee Falls man has been arrested and charged in connection with a June 12 road rage incident in Menomonee Falls where shots were fired and one person was injured.

The Menomonee Falls Police Department arrested Samuel Kendall in connection with the incident, according to a July 18 news release from the department.

Kendall, 25, was charged July 17 in Waukesha County Circuit Court, according to online court records.

His cash bond was set at $250,000.

Menomonee Falls officers responded to a “possible crash” and shots fired June 12 in the area of Maple Road and Christman Road, according to a June 15 news release from the Menomonee Falls Police Department. Gunshots were fired from the pursued vehicle, striking the victim’s vehicle and a nearby residence.

The driver of the pursuing vehicle was taken to an area hospital to treat a significant, non-life-threatening eye injury from the gunfire debris.

The two vehicles traveled south on Maple Road. A police investigation indicated the incident originated in the area of County Line Road and Bancroft Drive, according to the release.

The Waukesha County District Attorney has charged Kendall with the following offenses:

The investigation included several search warrants that were executed on July 16 in multiple communities, according to police.

The Menomonee Falls Police Department was assisted by the FBI-Milwaukee, Waukesha CountySheriff’s Department, Germantown Police Department and the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department.
