Medical episode causes driver to crash into Aldi store in Greenfield

A medical incident caused a driver to crash into an occupied Aldi grocery store in Greenfield on July 28, according to city officials.

Greenfield police and fire departments responded to the store at 4225 S. 108th St. around 11 a.m. after receiving calls about a vehicle that had struck the front of the building.

First responders found the crash was the result of a medical episode, officials said.

Two people were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. No injuries were reported, and no one inside the store was hurt. No one was transported from the scene.
