A 28-year-old man is dead and a 25-year-old woman sustained non-life threatening injures following a domestic incident in West Milwaukee early Sunday, July 19, according to the West Milwaukee Police Department.
Police said they are searching for a known suspect, a 25-year-old Milwaukee man, who fled the scene.
Around 3:37 a.m. officers responded to a domestic violence incident on 1200 block of South 52nd Street, the release said. When the police entered the residence, they discovered two victims with multiple stab wounds.
Police said they believe this was a targeted and isolated incident; charges will be forwarded to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
