MANITOWOC – The Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA is hiring for several full- and part-time positions, including jobs in aquatics, membership, gymnastics and child care.
The organization announced the openings in a Facebook post, saying it is looking for people who want “to make a difference” by working with children, helping members reach their goals or supporting the Y’s community programs.
Open positions listed by the YMCA include swim instructor, assistant swim team coach, lifeguard, membership representative, gymnastics instructor, part-time extended care teacher, part-time assistant child care teacher, full-time child care teacher, full-time infant child care teacher, 4K enrichment teacher, part-time before- and after-school counselor, and part-time opening and closing assistant child care teachers.
Some positions include sign-on bonuses. The YMCA listed a $1,000 sign-on bonus for a full-time infant child care teacher position and a $500 sign-on bonus for a 4K enrichment teacher position. Its careers page also notes benefits such as YMCA membership privileges, professional growth and development through YMCA-sponsored training, flexible work schedules and paid time off for staff working 20 or more hours per week.
