After 11 months I believe it’s way past time to allow common sense to rule the day and allow the delivery of mail to those homeowners on South Aurora Drive along State 441 who have been wrongly denied mail delivery for the most asinine reasons.
These owners pay taxes, shop locally and are employed, as best I know.
Rules are, at times, meant to be adjusted using not only common sense but respect as well for not only the tax paying home owners in Appleton that live in this particular area but also the fact that a local house builder increased the tax base for the city of Appleton by building numerous homes at this location and numerous other locations where empty spaces of land have stood for decades.
The U.S. Postal Service should work side-by-side with the City of Appleton, and most importantly, the tax paying homeowners who have been denied mail delivery, though they have installed mailboxes.
This is an opportune time to demonstrate again why this is a wonderful community to live in and raise a family. Deliver the mail for goodness sake.
Patrick J. Nagan,
Appleton
