Here's what to know about the 2025 WaterStone Bank Air & Water Show in Milwaukee

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will be in the air, and there’ll be a whole new show in the water at the 2025 WaterStone Bank Air & Water Show at Milwaukee’s lakefront this summer.

When is the Air & Water Show in Milwaukee?

The 2025 WaterStone Bank Air & Water Show will take place July 19-20. The water show starts at 10 a.m. July 19; the air show starts at noon.

Where is the Milwaukee Air & Water Show?

The show happens off and above the shore of Lake Michigan at McKinley and Bradford beaches.

How much are Milwaukee Air & Water Show tickets?

The air and water show is free.

But if you want to get a little closer to the action, there are several reserved-seating options. CenterPoint reserved seats are $39.68 for adults and $8.73 for youth; Flight Club seating costs $69.10 and $16.99, respectively. Sky-Chalet VIP seating is $172.34 and $48.46, includes a catered lunch and for adult ticket-buyers, a parking pass. (Note: The VIP seating for the July 19 was sold out as of July 14; Flight Club seating for July 19 also was sold out. In past years, reserved-ticket categories often have sold out quickly. What happens to the air show if the weather is bad?

The air and water show is a rain-or-shine event. But some of the acts might not perform if weather conditions affect safety or visibility. (In past years, fog has curtailed some acts’ performances.)

When will the Blue Angels perform at the Air & Water Show in Milwaukee?

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Squadron will take to the skies over Lake Michigan (and Milwaukee) at 3 p.m. both days of the air show.

The Blue Angels team will fly F/A-18 Super Hornets, and will be accompanied by the C-130J Super Hercules logistics aircraft, nicknamed “Fat Albert.”

The Blue Angels last headlined the Milwaukee air show in 2022 and 2023. The Navy flight demonstration squadron also had been booked for the 2020 air show, which was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Will the Blue Angels rehearse with flights above Milwaukee before the air show?

Practice for the air show is expected to start the morning of July 18, Paul Rogers, founder and president of Milwaukee Air & Water Show said at a press conference in May. However, a few planes appeared to be taking some test spins along Milwaukee’s lakefront near downtown July 16.

What’s the new water show at the Milwaukee air show?

The Robby Allen Water Show, an all-new lineup with a half-dozen or more acts, will fill the surf-specific portion of this year’s lakefront show.

What about parking for the Milwaukee air show?

Reserved lakefront parking for the event, along Lincoln Memorial Drive in front of the show’s VIP section, is available for $35 at the air show’s website. There’s also parking available in a number of downtown lots, including O’Donnell Park, and on streets near the lakefront.
