BASEBALL

Bay Port 4, Notre Dame 0

SUAMICO – Parker Lawson shut out the Tritons on four hits over seven innings to lead the Pirates to the Fox River Classic Conference win.

Cayden Heier had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs for Bay Port. Artie Adams scored twice and had a double.

Jackson Bouthilet had a double for Notre Dame.

Ty Bumgardner started and took the loss for the Tritons.

Green Bay Preble 1, West De Pere 0

GREEN BAY- The Hornets’ Will VanBoxtel drove in Harrison Selk with the winning run in the fourth inning in the victory over the Phantoms.

VanBoxtel pitched a complete game, allowing four hits while striking out six to get the win.

Logan Wierzba took the loss for West De Pere.

Manitowoc Lincoln 10, Ashwaubenon 0

ASHWAUBENON – The Ships, who led 1-0 after one inning, added four runs in the third and four in the seventh in the win over the Jaguars.

In addition to 10 hits, Manitowoc took advantage of a pair of walks and three hit batters.

Brett Danielson had three hits for Manitowoc. Gabe Eichmann had two hits and two RBIs. Turner Sorenson had two hits and Benson Dickrell had two RBIs.

Bennett Johnson got the win for Manitowoc. He allowed two hits and one walk while striking out eight.

Sheboygan North 23, Green Bay Southwest 0

SHEBOYGAN – The Golden Raiders scored 13 runs in the third inning to break open the game in their win over the Trojans.

Green Bay Southwest had three hits.

Fox Valley Lutheran 3, Seymour 2

APPLETON – The Foxes took a 3-0 lead after two innings and held off the Thunder, which rallied for two runs in the sixth inning.

Spencer Bromm drove in two runs for Fox Valley Lutheran, while Luke Heimerl drove in FVL’s other run.

Cayden Staffeldt had one of Seymour’s three hits and drove in both of the team’s runs.

Jack Schlueter pitched a complete game for Fox Valley Lutheran to get the win. He gave up two runs on three hits and a walk while striking out two.

Kobe Barth started and took the loss for Seymour. He allowed two runs on two hits and two walks in two-thirds of an inning. Xavier Salzman followed and allowed one run on three hits over 5⅓ innings.

Winneconne 6, Shawano 4

SHAWANO – The Wolves trailed 3-2 after six innings but scored four runs to get the win over the Hawks.

Ethan Duel had two hits for Winneconne, while Noah Bouras had a double.

Lucky Pahl pitched a complete game for Winneconne. He gave up four runs (two earned) on five hits and three walks while striking out nine.

Denmark 13, Waupaca 8

WAUPACA – The Vikings scored in every inning in their win over the Comets.

Denmark, which finished with 14 hits, scored three runs in the third inning and three in the fourth to take a 9-6 lead.

Waupaca had four runs in the first inning.

Crivitz 15, Wausaukee 0

WAUSAUKEE – The Wolverines had six hits but used 11 walks in the five-inning win over the Rangers.

Colten Tarmann and Pierce Polomis both scored three runs for Crivitz, while Brooks Ludwig had a pair of hits and drove in three runs. Jackson Schramm, Stephen Allard and Michael Stahl each drove in two runs.

Schramm and Polomis combined on a one-hitter for Crivitz. Schramm struck out 10 batters in four innings.

Hank Nuetzel had the only hit for Wausaukee, a triple to lead off the first inning.

Appleton North 13, Green Bay Notre Dame 3 (Monday)

ASHWAUBENON – The Lighting scored 10 runs in the fifth inning to pull away for the nonconference win at Capital Credit Union Park.

Nathan Ramus had two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs for the Lightning. Owen Reuland added two RBIs, and Teegan Karpinske had a double.

Ramus pitched two innings to get the win. He did not allow a hit or a run and struck out one.

Hortonville 6, Seymour 2 (Monday)

HORTONVILLE – Isaac Behnke scattered 10 hits and allowed two runs (one earned) in 6 1/3 innings to lead the Polar Bears to the nonconference win. The game was ended due to lightning in the top of the seventh inning.

Behnke struck out three batters ane walked one.

Derek Baumbach, Behnke, Brock Wolter, Gary Wuest and Connor Christensen each collected one hit for Hortonville. Wolter and Wuest each drove in two runs.

Carson Staffeldt went 3-for-3 to lead Seymour. Jordan Thompson and Carson Staffeldt each drove in one run for the Thunder. Brayden Banker and Cayden Staffeldt each collected two hits.

Luxemburg-Casco 8, Sturgeon Bay 0 (Monday)

LUXEMBURG – Hudson Billings and Brayden Radart combined to pitch a shutout for the Spartans in the nonconference game.

Billings earned the win for Luxemburg-Casco. He gave up two hits over six innings, striking out six and walking two. Radart pitched the final inning, striking out two and not allowing a hit.

Billings drove in two runs for the Spartans. Noah Chervenka had two hits.

SOFTBALL

Shawano 25, Green Bay West 0

GREEN BAY – The Hawks scored six runs in the first  inning, 13 in the second and six in the third to overwhelm the Wildcats.

Riley Krueger led Shawano, going 4-for-4 with a double, four RBIs and three runs scored, while Jacey Cowden was 4-for-5 with a double, triple, two RBIs and four runs scored.

Adding three hits each were Amiyah O’Kimosh, Ayanna O’Kimosh, Gracee Johnson and Ava Wachtel, while Jaelyn Hietpas added two hits. Amiyah O’Kimosh, Kadence Meyers and Johnson added doubles, while Ayanna O’Kimosh added two triples.

Fox Valley Lutheran 2, Seymour 0

APPLETON – The Foxes got single runs in the fifth and sixth innings to earn the Bay Conference win.

Madison Babcock picked up the win, allowing just two hits.

Claire Pfrang led the Foxes with two hits, while Brianna Dahlke had an RBI.

Kendra Rettler took the loss, pitching six innings, allowing five hits and two runs (one earned) while striking out seven.

Adde Smith and Lyla Schueler had hits for Seymour.

Marinette 9, Wrightstown 5

MARINETTE – The Marines scored three runs in the first, fifth and sixth innings en route to the North Eastern Conference win.

The Tigers scored two in the first, one in the second and two in the fifth.

Charlie Bowker was 2-for-3 with an RBI, while Elaina Verbeten added two hits for Wrightstown.

Barrett Cole was 2-for-3 with a homer, three RBIs and three runs scored to power Marinette. Remi Ahrndt homered and drove in three runs for the Marines.

Southern Door 24, Weyauwega-Fremont 0

WEYAUWEGA – The Eagles pounded out 10 runs in the first, 10 in the second and four in the third to make short work of the Warhawks.

Harper Kramer led the Southern Door attack, going 4-for-4 with a double and four RBIs, while Alanah Kaye, Audrey Plzack, Reese Vogel, Grace Gutschow and Samantha Melville added two hits each.

Kaye, Ava Uecker, Vogel, Guschow and Madyson Counard added doubles.

Kaye picked up the win, pitching three innings, allowing two hits and one walk while striking out six.

Crivitz 10, Wausaukee 0

WAUSAUKEE – Taryn Tracy was 3-for-4 with three doubles and two RBIs as the Wolverines rolled past the Rangers in Marinette & Oconto Conference action.

Isabella Logan and Lillian Biundo added two hits each for Crivitz.

Tracy picked up the win in the circle, allowing just one hit while striking out seven.

Skyler Betts had Wausaukee’s hit.

Three Lakes/Phelps 14, Niagara 4

THREE LAKES – The big inning proved costly for the visiting Badgers as they dropped the nonconference matchup.

Three Lakes/Phelps scored two runs in the first, seven in the second, two in the third and three in the fifth.

Niagara, meanwhile, scored two in the third and two in the fifth.

Paige Guardiola and Shelby Zittlow both had two hits, including a double, to power the Badgers.

Green Bay Preble 10, Manitowoc Lincoln 0 (Monday)

GREEN BAY – Camille Konkol, Gracie Day, Maya Darmawan and Izzy Neerdaels had two hits apiece for Preble in the five-inning victory.

Neerdaels also finished with three RBIs for the Hornets.

Tenley Kuehn pitched the complete-game shutout, notching 11 strikeouts.

Jordin Popp, Sam Raymaker and Anya Hall each recorded a hit for Manitowoc.

Shawano Triangular

BOYS

SHAWANO 72, MENASHA 41, GREEN BAY WEST 29

Shawano’s Josiah Kuehl picked up a pair of individual wins, taking first in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:12.71 and the 1,600-meter run with a time of 5:03.41.

Green Bay West’s Darian Harris was a winner in the long jump with a jump of 20-4 and the 100-meter dash with a time of :11.27. Beau Leroy won the 100-meter and 400-meter wheelchair events with times of :28.65 and 2:05.22.

GIRLS

GREEN BAY WEST 59, MENASHA 56, SHAWANO 42

Green Bay West’s Adriana Moyano won the pole vault at a height of 10-0 and the triple jump with a jump of 35-11. Teammate Mikiah Rogina swept the hurdles with times of :16.11 and :51.77 in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles, respectively.

Shawano’s Bailey Hendricks won both the 800- and 1,600-meter runs with times of 2:40.04 and 5:50.51, respectively.

Winneconne Triangular

BOYS

FOX VALLEY LUTHERAN 69.67, WINNECONNE 67.33, GREEN BAY EAST 19

Jacoby Dobberstein and Blessings Kapande both won two individual events for the Foxes.

Dobberstein won the 300-meter hurdles with a time of :40.70 and the triple jump with a jump of 41-6.5.

Kapande was victorious in the long jump with a jump of 21-8.5 and the high jump at a height of 5-4.

Hudson Samolinski of Winneconne won both the shot put with a toss of 59-5 and the discus with a throw of 185-3.

GIRLS

FOX VALLEY LUTHERAN 71.5, WINNECONNE 50, GREEN BAY EAST 31.5

Winneconne’s Quinn LeRoy won the 800- and 1,600-meter runs with times of 2:43.13 and 5:49.90, respectively.

Green Bay East’s Lakeria Gonnigan won both hurdles events, taking the 100-meter hurdles with a time of :17.62 and the 300-meter hurdles with a time of :51.23.

New London Triangular

BOYS

NEW LONDON 97, SEYMOUR 47.5, XAVIER 37.5

New London’s Collyn Elsholtz swept the hurdles, winning the 110- and 300-meter hurdles with times of :17.93 and :44.49, respectively.

Seymour’s Johnny Ramirez was victorious in the long jump with a jump of 20-10.75 and the 100-meter dash with a time of :11.76.

GIRLS

XAVIER 81, SEYMOUR 48, NEW LONDON 48

New London’s Shaye Allen won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:35.54 and the 1,600-meter run with a time of 5:48.84. Teammate Ayden Smith won the shot put with a toss of 48-5.5 and the discus with a throw of 127-0.
