Steve Alker remembers lifting Alfred S. Bourne Trophy after victory

BRADENTON — Steve Alker doesn’t remember all the specifics of his come-from-behind victory in the 2022 PGA Senior Championship. It was, after all, his fourth win in 18 months.

So was the victory for Alker’s emerging career. The Senior PGA remains the only major championship he has among his 11 PGA Tour Champions titles. He fired a final-round 63 to beat Stephen Ames by three shots.
