Jordan Stolz leaves Wisconsin today to compete in the final ISU World Cup of the season in Inzell, Germany, next weekend. From there, he will head over to Italy for his final preparation for the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympic Games.
And Mitzi will miss him.
That’s Stolz’s rescue cat, believed to be about 9 years old, and she has become pretty famous to speed-skating fans around the world thanks to Stolz’s sponsorship by Nulo.
Stolz was about 12 years old when he discovered the cat roaming around the family’s countryside home in Kewaskum. The family already had another rescue cat, Silver, so Stolz started taking care of the new young cat, later named Mitzi.
