Car owner loses three vehicles to suspected arson on east side

Someone had three of their vehicles torched on May 21 on Milwaukee’s east side.

The scorched cars were on the 1700 block of East Belleview Place, according to the Milwaukee Police Department. The department declined to say whether the arson was targeted, saying they had yet to arrest a suspect and continue to investigate the crime.

Video from nearby residents shows the cars on fire and, later, firefighters responding. One firefighter appears to be cutting into a smoking vehicle in the video.

Police are asking anyone with information on what happened to call Milwaukee police at 414-935-73360 or, to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 414-224-Tips or use the P3 Tips app.
