MANITOWOC – Bank First, with headquarters in Manitowoc, has been ranked No. 11 on S&P Global Market Intelligence’s 2025 list of the Best-Performing U.S. Community Banks in the $3 billion to $10 billion asset category.
The recognition places Bank First among the top-performing community banks nationally based on measures that include growth, profitability and balance-sheet strength, according to S&P Global.
“This recognition reflects the consistency of our performance and the strength of the relationships we’ve built with our customers, communities and shareholders,” CEO and Chairman Mike Molepske said in a news release.
The company said it will continue to focus on relationship-based banking, customer experience and long-term financial strength.
Bank First Corporation provides banking and financial services through Bank First, N.A., founded in 1894. The company operates 38 locations in Wisconsin and Illinois and reported approximately $6 billion in assets and about 499 full-time-equivalent employees.
Bank First expanded its footprint following a merger with First National Bank and Trust Company on Jan. 1. Bank First also earned national recognition this year after landing on Forbes’ list of America’s Best Banks for 2026.
